Rental agreement
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to reservations made directly with Jojo Garage.
Driver Eligibility
The renter must be at least 21 years old (or the minimum age required by law), hold a valid driver’s license, and provide a valid government-issued ID. The renter must also meet all insurance and verification requirements.
Authorized Drivers
Only the renter and any additional drivers approved by Jojo Garage are permitted to operate the vehicle. Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle is a violation of this agreement.
Vehicle Condition
The renter acknowledges that the vehicle has been inspected and accepted in good condition at the start of the rental. Any pre-existing damage will be documented before pickup.
Return Policy
The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date, time, and location. Late returns may result in additional rental charges and late fees.
Fuel
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup unless the renter purchases the $80 prepaid fuel option. Prepaid fuel is non-refundable and allows the vehicle to be returned at any fuel level. Without prepaid fuel, missing fuel will be charged at the current market rate plus a service fee.
Mileage
The reservation includes 200 miles per rental day. Any mileage exceeding the included limit will be charged at $0.50 per additional mile driven.
Smoking Policy
Smoking or vaping inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be charged if smoking is detected.
Cleaning
The vehicle must be returned in reasonably clean condition. Excessive dirt, stains, pet hair, odors, or spills may result in additional cleaning charges.
Prohibited Uses
- Racing or speed contests.
- Off-road driving.
- Towing unless authorized.
- Transporting illegal substances.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Any unlawful activity.
Accidents & Damage
Any accident, damage, theft, warning light, or mechanical issue must be reported immediately. Failure to report incidents promptly may result in additional liability.
Traffic Violations
The renter is responsible for all parking tickets, tolls, traffic citations, impound fees, and related administrative costs incurred during the rental period.
Insurance
The renter is responsible for maintaining any required insurance coverage unless coverage is purchased through Jojo Garage.
Cancellation
All rentals, reservation payments, protection-plan charges, delivery fees, prepaid fuel purchases, and other amounts paid at booking are non-refundable.
Liability
The renter accepts responsibility for any loss or damage not covered by applicable insurance or protection plans, to the extent permitted by law.
GPS & Vehicle Tracking
For security, theft prevention, and fleet management, vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking devices.
Personal Property
Jojo Garage is not responsible for personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
Agreement
By checking the acceptance box and completing the reservation, the renter confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
